Haifeng Pagoda Tower Shadow Park is a cultural tourism attraction.

The octagonal, thirteen-story pavilion-style Haifeng Pagoda is situated on the southern side of Hehua Bay, adjacent to a Qing Dynasty academy; the statue of the Five Children Teasing Buddha stands at the original site of Haifeng Pagoda, and beside the pavilion is preserved the "Record of the Reconstruction of Dajue Temple" written by Zhang Yinghan, a scholar of the Qing Kangxi era, and inscribed by Wu Tan, the governor of Jiangsu. To the west, the park borders the former residence of Wu Shifen, a renowned Qing Dynasty epigrapher and archaeologist. Built in 639 AD (the 13th year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty), Haifeng Pagoda was originally known as Puzhao Temple Pagoda. It has thirteen levels, an octagonal shape, and a dense-eave brick-and-stone structure. In the early Ming Dynasty, when the county was renamed Haifeng, Puzhao Temple Pagoda was also renamed "Dajue Temple," so the Tang-era pagoda is also known as "Haifeng Pagoda" or "Dajue Temple Pagoda." Inside Tower Shadow Park, visitors can take a boat ride to admire the lotus flowers and experience the childlike joy of returning to nature; they can climb Haifeng Pagoda to overlook the city of Wudi and take in the panoramic beauty of the entire town; or they can ascend the Bell Tower, enjoy a drink in the breeze, and revel in the idyllic charm of a hidden paradise.
