Shandong Shunyuan Jujube Industry Co., Ltd. is located in the eastern part of Wudi County, enjoying very convenient transportation. In 2001, with the support of the National Agricultural Comprehensive Development Multiple Operation Project, the company implemented a series of infrastructure developments within the park including farmland water conservancy facilities, land consolidation, pond digging and platform building, as well as dense planting of winter jujubes. These efforts achieved full-scale field planning, forest network development, and the integration of ditches, roads, canals, and irrigation sluices. As the company continued to grow and expand, it has become a leading enterprise driving and promoting local agricultural industrial restructuring, as well as a model for high-tech agricultural development. The company is primarily engaged in agricultural development, production and sales of agricultural products, and agricultural-related scientific research. It includes multiple project areas such as jujube product processing, fruit and vegetable preservation, eco-tourism, and aquaculture. Its main products include a series of jujube products such as jujube juice, jujube powder, vinegar drinks, jujube slices, candied jujubes, and ready-to-eat jujubes, as well as other fruit and vegetable products. Among these, the production technologies for winter jujube juice and winter jujube powder have obtained national patents. In 2002, the company obtained the qualification certificate for import and export enterprises. Its "Shunyuan" brand winter jujubes and golden silk jujubes were certified as Grade A green foods by the China Green Food Development Center. It was also designated as a demonstration enterprise for the Green Card Action Plan for Export Agricultural Products by the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture, laying a solid foundation for entering the international market. In 2004, the company was recognized as a municipal key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization by the Binzhou Municipal Government. Since its establishment, the company has undertaken numerous national, provincial, and municipal construction projects and scientific research programs. In 2002 and 2003, it was consecutively responsible for the implementation of the Shandong Provincial Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Project. In 2005, the company also carried out a UN FAO aid project for China and a National Agricultural Comprehensive Development Multiple Operation Project. The company has established a 3,000-mu green winter jujube growing area, a 12,000-square-meter jujube product processing workshop, a 1,000-ton controlled-atmosphere storage facility for winter jujubes, a 2,000-ton constant-temperature warehouse, and a modern sorting workshop. It has now developed into a large-scale comprehensive leading enterprise integrating science, industry, trade, production, supply, and sales.
