The Stele of the Gao Family Ancestral Tomb

The Stele of the Gao Family Ancestral Tomb is located in Gaojia Village, west of Wudi County, Binzhou City. It was erected in 1326 (the third year of the Yuan Dynasty's Tai Ding era). The tomb's occupant, Gao Ren, held the official title of Deputy Minister and served as the Prefect of Zhenjiang Road. The stele stands 250 cm tall, with a base that is 72 cm wide and 148 cm long. The visible portion above ground is 25 cm high, and the inscription contains 930 characters. The full text of the stele’s inscription is recorded in the Republican-era Wudi County Annals · Arts and Literature section, though the inscriptions have suffered severe erosion. In September 1992, it was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit by the Wudi County People's Government.
