Xiajin Longhu Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Longhu Park is located in the southwestern part of the county town and is part of the "Blue Water Encircling the City" project, serving as a water regulation and storage source for the project. With a total investment of over 70 million yuan, the park covers an area of more than 520 acres, including over 420 acres of water surface and nearly 70,000 square meters of lakeside green landscaping.

The park is divided into the main entrance area, waterside recreation area, children’s activity area, sports and fitness area, cultural leisure area, forest leisure activity area, aquatic plant cultivation area, urban image display area, lakeside walking area, lake center island, and cruise boat dock.

The planting of vegetation in the park reflects a composite plant community landscape, emphasizing the overall continuity and close-up visual effect of the community. Different plant landscape features are formed according to the environmental characteristics of various sections. “Summer Breeze and Fragrance”: In the square, tall trees are planted in rows, harmonizing with the pavement design to create a neat and orderly layout. The green spaces highlight the variety and arrangement of mid-layer and lower-layer plants, with a large selection of flowering and fragrant plants, allowing visitors to enjoy the blossoms and scents while strolling through, creating an engaging experience. “Twilight and Music”: By utilizing trees with varying shades of foliage, a lush summer evening scene is created. “Crimson Forest and Autumn Moon”: Emphasizes a near-natural plant arrangement, making full use of and integrating with the terrain. Planting is dense in some areas and sparse in others, with rich layers and dynamic variation. The lawns are expansive, tree arrangements are open and well-spaced, accented by colorful foliage plants, with distant plants forming a dense backdrop, creating contrasts in space, color, and light, making the landscape more vivid and natural. “Sunny Rainbow and Silken Stream”: Along the pathways, evergreen and semi-evergreen plants such as pines, cypresses, and euonymus are planted. Through the rational arrangement of upper, middle, and lower-layer plants, a naturally changing green backdrop is formed visually, while functionally serving to buffer road noise and create a tranquil, isolated space. Flower stands on both sides feature rows of large trees that guide visitors’ gaze toward the shore. “Willow Embankment in the Sun”: The embankment is also one of the key scenic routes within the park. In addition to peach blossoms, willows, and green grass, it is set against a backdrop of large, shady trees, with clear reflections of aquatic plants visible in the water.
