Dongyue Temple in Xiajin

Dongyue Temple in Xiajin is a cultural tourism attraction.

Originally known as Qinglong Temple, it is located in Jinqidian Village, Leiji Town. First built during the Sui and Tang dynasties, the temple boasts a grand and well-organized layout. It underwent multiple renovations during the Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties and has enjoyed continuous worship over the centuries. Damaged in the 1960s, it was rebuilt in 2003. Covering a construction area of 1,500 square meters, it features four structures including the Jade Emperor Pavilion, Bixia Palace, the Underground Palace, and the God of Wealth Hall, with its most distinctive feature being the abundance of deities, numbering over a hundred.
