Huimeng Park is located in the western part of the urban area, bordered by Longhu Park to the south and Xihuan Road to the west. With a total investment of 70 million yuan and covering an area of 480 mu.

The park’s overall design concept centers on the theme of “harmony and mutual elevation.” The landscape design reflects the harmony of mountain and water scenery; the functional layout embodies the harmony between leisure, recreation, and the display of classical ancient architectural landscapes; the composition showcases the harmony of solid and void, movement and stillness. The goal is to maximize ecological improvement, striving to achieve harmony between humans and nature. This includes enhancing urban environmental quality, increasing surrounding land value, improving water storage capacity, elevating residents’ living standards, and enriching regional cultural content. In conjunction with the construction of Longhu Park to the south, an artificial hill has been created in the northern part of the park to enrich the local landscape and avoid the monotonous similarity typical of plain areas, thereby adding layers and interest to the urban scenery. The creation of this artificial hill also provides a fitting backdrop for the entire western scenic area of the city.

Overall, the landscape forms a distinctive feature of “one mountain, one lake.” The general layout of the park is designed based on a pattern similar to the Taiji diagram, forming a structure of “two axes and five gardens.” By utilizing the flowing arrangement of pathways in harmony with the terrain, water bodies, plants, buildings, paved areas, and other facilities, the aim is to create continuous spaces that display garden landscapes or offer vantage lines for enjoying views ahead. This connects the “two axes and five gardens” into an organic whole, forming a cohesive scenic composition.
