Jinan Forest Park

Jinan Forest Park is located on Zhangzhuang Road in Huaiyin District, Jinan City, bordered by Xingji River to the east, Erhuan West Road to the west, and Jixi Road to the north. Construction began in March 2010, and it officially opened in December 2010. The park covers an area of 69.5 hectares, with an overall layout consisting of “one ring” — a shaded scenic road encircling the entire park. “One axis” — a central main axis running through the natural landscape from north to south. “Five lakes” — Lanzhui Lake, Yongcui Lake, Yingcui Lake, Huayu Bay, and Jicui Pool. “Nine gardens” — Terraced Garden, Sculpture Garden, Science Garden, Spring Garden, Summerwood Garden, Autumn Scenery Garden, Fir Forest Garden, Bamboo Garden, and Children’s Playground. The park integrates various landscaping elements such as terrain, plants, water bodies, and architecture, and utilizes eco-friendly and energy-saving technologies and materials including photovoltaic power generation, ground-source heat pumps, and light steel structures. It forms a garden space that organically blends natural ecology with modern technology, serving as a comprehensive urban park in western Jinan that combines forests, wetlands, streams, sculptures, and more, offering multiple functions such as recreation, science education, fitness, and emergency shelter.

Travel Tips

: Bus Routes: k50 → Route 7, total distance approximately 14.7 km

1. Walk about 520 meters from Jinan Public Transport Corporation... to reach the Bus Corporation Station

2. Take bus k50, passing 10 stops, to reach Daguan Garden Station (you can also take bus 103)

3. Take bus Route 7, passing 13 stops, to reach Qiantun Community Station

4. Walk about 190 meters to reach Xijiao Nursery.

Bus k107 is also an option, but you will need to walk 1 km after getting off.
