German-style buildings at No. 50 and No. 52 Weishi Road

The German-style buildings at No. 50 and No. 52 Weishi Road are protected cultural heritage sites of Jinan City.

Both located at No. 50 and No. 52 Weishi Road in Huaiyin District, these buildings were constructed by Germans. No. 50 is a four-story red-brick fortress, which was reportedly used as a slaughterhouse after being taken over by the Japanese. The structure has a rectangular floor plan, measuring 14.1 meters from east to west and 8.4 meters from north to south. Windows on the first to third floors are rectangular, while those on the fourth floor are arched. The roof features flat sections at both eastern and western ends, and a double-sloped gable roof in the center. The interior has wooden flooring and staircases.

No. 52 is located south of No. 50, adjacent to it. This building was constructed in 1919 and is a two-story house facing south with a gable roof. The first floor has three arched entrances, and the second floor has rectangular windows. Both buildings were constructed during the same period.
