Wulei City is located 22 kilometers southeast of the county town, at the northwest corner of Luzhuangzi Village. The site is an east-west rectangular platform that rises above the surrounding ground

2–3 meters. The terrain is lower in the south and higher in the north, with a high platform on the northern side of the central area, which stands 8 meters above the ground to the north of the city. A cultural layer 4 meters thick is visible, and the surface contains remains such as rope-patterned bricks and tiles, as well as the rims of gray clay pottery. According to *Yu Di Zhi* (“Records of Geography”), “Emperor Xuan of Han enfeoffed Yong, the son of Prince Xian of Hejian, as the Marquis of Jingcheng. The five sons lived separately within the city, which was commonly referred to as Wulei City. Remains such as the Dressing Tower and the Dressing Hill can still be found today.”
