Yabazhuang Site

The Yabazhuang Site is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Era: Neolithic Age to Eastern Zhou Dynasty

Located 3.5 kilometers from Renqiu City, Cangzhou, the site is locally known as "Gedading," and covers an area of approximately 60,000 square meters.

The Yabazhuang Site is relatively large in size, with higher terrain in the north and lower in the south, and cultural layers ranging from 0.2 to 5 meters in depth. In the spring and autumn of 1989 and 1990, the Hebei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics, together with the Cangzhou Regional Cultural Relics Management Office, jointly conducted archaeological excavations at the site. A total of 1,300 square meters were excavated, uncovering 130 ash pits and 7 wells from different periods, and yielding over 1,300 artifacts including pottery, stone tools, bone tools, horn tools, shell tools, and jade artifacts.
