Liutai Peach Blossom Valley

Liutai Peach Blossom Valley is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Liutai Peach Blossom Valley tourist scenic area was planned to a high standard by Beijing DAVOS Peak Tourism Planning & Design Institute. With a total planned investment of 1 billion yuan, the scenic area spans 20,000 mu, including 12,000 mu of peach orchards and 8,000 mu of forested hills. The planning area encompasses 11 natural villages, including Liutai, Dakao, and Xiaokao. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with crisscrossing valleys and vast seas of peach blossoms layered across the hillsides. It is the premium garden among the one hundred thousand mu of peach blossoms in Feicheng, and is hailed as a “heavenly paradise and vacation resort” and “the most beautiful peach blossom valley on earth.” Every autumn, the fragrant mature Fota peaches waft far and wide, making it the best place for visitors to taste and pick peaches. The scenic area has been recognized by the National Tourism Administration as one of the “First Batch of National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Sites” and a national AAA-level tourist scenic area.

In recent years, Yiyang Town has consistently focused on tourism as a sunrise industry. Leveraging the abundant peach blossom resources of Liutai, it has developed eco-tourism sightseeing and invested over 70 million yuan in the development and construction of the scenic area. This includes building 10,000 meters of tourist roads, greening 4,000 mu of barren hills, and carrying out large-scale comprehensive environmental improvements around the scenic area. To date, attractions such as Peach Blossom Valley, Folk Culture Museum, Anti-Japanese War Tunnels, Peach Blossom Lake, Peach Blossom Stream, Peach Blossom Island Castle, Taoyuan Mountain Villa, Tourist Service Center, large parking lots, and agritainment dining options have been established. The Liutai scenic area has now evolved into a comprehensive tourism zone integrating “dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment.” In November 2011, driven by its strong influence, it attracted an investment of 4 billion yuan from Hong Kong Rayleigh Holdings Limited to comprehensively upgrade and develop the area based on the Liutai Peach Blossom Valley scenic area, creating the World Peach Blossom Valley Tourism Resort. The project covers a total controlled area of 18 square kilometers, with a construction area of 1,850 mu. It is planned to be completed within five years, establishing a national AAAAA-level scenic area that integrates ecological sightseeing, cultural experiences, leisure and entertainment, business conferences, and wellness vacations. At that time, the peach blossom tourism brand will gain nationwide recognition, and there will be significant growth in collective income.
