They have been tribute fruits for imperial courts throughout history. The planting area has reached 100,000 mu, earning the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest peach orchard. In spring, the peach blossoms here are like clouds or rosy clouds, with countless trees competing in beauty; in autumn, the area is laden with abundant fruit, fragrant for miles, resembling a fairyland on earth. Feicheng peaches are mainly distributed in Yiyang Township, Xincheng Subdistrict, and Taoyuan Town. The Peach Blossom Paradise Scenic Area is a key sightseeing attraction developed and constructed in recent years. Every spring, the peach blossoms blanket the mountains and compete in splendor, making it an ideal destination for flower viewing and leisure.

The Peach Blossom Paradise Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu. It is the premium garden of Feicheng’s 100,000-mu peach blossom fields. The main features of the scenic area are its naturally elegant charm and simple, unadorned style. It shapes its tourism identity with “real mountains, real scenery, and real fresh air,” offering a strong natural mountain and wilderness atmosphere. Historical records indicate that during the Xianfeng era of the Qing Dynasty, Zeng Guofan made a special trip to Panlong Temple west of Liutai Village while traveling south. The temple’s abbot, Master Huizhen, served him peaches. After tasting them, Zeng Guofan praised them highly and had them transported to Beijing as tribute for Emperor Xianfeng, who named them “Buddha Peaches.” Since then, Feicheng Buddha Peaches have become famous worldwide.

Liutai Peach Blossom Source Tourist Scenic Area is the premium garden of Feicheng’s 100,000-mu peach blossom fields, planned at a high level by Beijing DAVOS Peak Tourism Planning and Design Institute. The planned total investment is 1 billion yuan, covering a total area of 2,000 mu, including 12,000 mu of peach orchards and 8,000 mu of mountain forests. The planning scope includes 8 administrative villages and has been awarded titles such as “First Batch of National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Sites,” “National AA-Level Tourist Attraction,” and “Shandong Tourism to the Countryside Project Demonstration Site.” The scenic area has invested over 70 million yuan to build 10,000 meters of tourist roads, green 4,000 mu of barren hills, and carry out large-scale environmental improvements around the scenic area. It has constructed and improved over 20 tourist attractions, including a Folk Museum, Anti-Japanese War Tunnels, Peach Blossom Island, zip lines, grass skiing, Peach Blossom Valley, and Peach Blossom Stream, as well as service facilities such as a visitor center, large parking lot, and farmhouse dining. In coordination with scenic development, the plan involves relocating villages within the scenic area to the north of Dakao Village to build a high-standard garden community. A joint-stock company has been established, forming an operational system where shareholders participate in development and the company manages operations uniformly, making the scenic area’s operation more standardized, scientific, and orderly. As the main scenic area for peach blossom tourism in Feicheng, it has hosted the opening ceremonies of nine Peach Blossom Festivals and the Feicheng Peach Picking Festival, attracting over 300,000 visitors from within and outside the province each year.

Peach Blossom Manor: Within Peach Blossom Manor, locals have designed several unique farmsteads, renovated from traditional local stone houses. Each room is named after various types of peaches, featuring a strong peach-growing village character.

Visitor Center: The scenic area’s visitor center covers a project area of 7 mu, with a main building area of 1,100 square meters. The architectural style of the center is entirely traditional Chinese, and it includes facilities such as ticketing, exhibition halls, information desks, and public restrooms.

Bus:

Bus: Route 5 goes directly there; city taxis: starting fare 4 RMB/km. From the South Outer Ring Road to the scenic area gate is 2 km, and from the bus station to the scenic area visitor center costs 10–15 RMB.

Self-Driving Guide:

Drive south from downtown Jinan, through Changqing District, along the Ji'anyi Highway for about 1 hour to reach downtown Feicheng.
