Bujin Mountain Scenic Area

Bujin Mountain Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Bujin Mountain Scenic Area is one of the key tourism development zones in Feicheng and also an important component of the tourism construction in Bianyuan Town. Bujin Mountain is a historic and cultural mountain located west of Xiaowang Village. It boasts numerous scenic spots and historical sites, rich cultural heritage, and was once visited by the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, who left behind the poem “Farewell to Wang the Taoist Returning to Bujin Mountain,” as well as the enduring legacy of the Yang Family Generals. The mountain stretches 5 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of approximately 11 square kilometers. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 447.9 meters. At the summit lies “Yunyang Nunnery,” south of which is “Dayun Temple,” along with other historic sites such as “Chaoyang Cave” and “Zhangxian Cave.”

Xiaowang Village has invested over 5 million yuan in the comprehensive development of tourism attractions on Bujin Mountain. More than 600,000 new trees have been planted, bringing the forest coverage rate to 99%. A 3-kilometer river channel has been dug at the foot of the mountain to create a fishing area, and a 5-kilometer mountain-looping road has been built. Successive projects have established multiple attractions including Golden Mountain Pavilion, Golden Mountain Pass, a theater, restaurants, Shimen Pass, Mount Tai Palace, Julong Pavilion, and Longevity Steps. At the foot of the mountain, the Jinqiao Holiday Resort has been built, creating a scenic area that integrates tourism, leisure, vacation, fishing, entertainment, and catering services.

Since 2003, Bujin Mountain Scenic Area has hosted a six-day mountain fair on “May 1” and “October 1.” Each day, the fair attracts over ten thousand visitors. In addition to exploring the various attractions and enjoying the natural scenery, tourists can also enjoy performances of traditional drama, song and dance, and folk art.

There is one Bujin Mountain Grand Hotel that can accommodate 500 diners simultaneously. The scenic area has two parking lots with over 200 parking spaces.

Visitor Service Center: The scenic area is equipped with a visitor reception center, and major locations within the area feature large scenic area maps.

From the Tai’an West exit of the Beijing–Fuzhou Expressway, drive 28 kilometers southwest along Taodong Road. After seeing the sign, drive another 5 kilometers west to reach the destination.
