Shuanghai Lake Eco-Painting and Calligraphy Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The construction project of Shuanghai Lake Eco-Painting and Calligraphy Park is located in the southern part of Gaotang County’s urban area, bordered by Guandao Street to the east, adjacent to Yuqiu Lake Scenic Area to the north, connected to Provincial Highway 322 to the south, and abutting Binhu Road to the west. The southern bank is the Eco-Painting and Calligraphy Park area, which leverages the abundant water resources of Shuanghai Lake to develop traditional water-based folk experiences such as dragon boat racing, while also planning commercial hotels, water amusement parks, children’s play areas, regional Chinese cuisines, hot spring baths, artificial beaches, and other leisure facilities. The northern bank is the Painting and Calligraphy Gallery Cluster area, where plans include the construction of a Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Museum, the Li Qimao Art Museum, and art galleries for a hundred renowned calligraphers and painters. The botanical garden area is situated on the western shore of Shuanghai Lake Eco-Painting and Calligraphy Park, with a planned total area of over 600 acres. The botanical garden mainly cultivates northern tree species and includes nearly a thousand plant varieties. Based on different ecological requirements, it showcases landscaping art through specialized plant gardens, forming distinctive garden landscapes. The eastern bank mainly features waterside architectural elements, stone carvings, steles, and small parks.

Bus Information: Take Bus No. 2 from the county bus station to reach the park.

Self-Driving Directions: Starting from the county bus station, enter Binhu North Road, drive 1.7 km, then enter Binhu South Road, drive 1.8 km and turn left, enter South Ring Road, drive 960 meters, then turn right and drive 570 meters to reach the destination.
