The Former Site of the Luxi Special Committee is a cultural relics protection unit of Gaotang County and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Site of the Luxi Special Committee dates back to 1928 and is located in Guguantun Village, Huixin Subdistrict, Gaotang County.

In May 2008, the Former Site of the Luxi Special Committee was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Huixin Subdistrict: Located in the western part of Gaotang County, Shandong Province, Huixin is the site of the county’s economic and technological development zone. It covers a total area of 58 square kilometers, governs 42 administrative villages, has a total population of 43,000, and 42,000 mu of arable land. It has developed into the economic and business center of Gaotang County and has successively been awarded titles such as “Ecological Demonstration Township (Town) of Liaocheng City,” “Star Investment Attraction Township of Liaocheng City,” “Advanced Unit in Investment Attraction and Private Economy Work of Liaocheng City,” “Model Office for Comprehensive Management of Public Security,” and “First Prize in Comprehensive Evaluation of Major Party and Economic Work in Gaotang County.”
