Xinzhuang Site in Guanxian County

The Xinzhuang Site in Guanxian County is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Xinzhuang Site is located in Xiadian Township, Guanxian County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age through the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. In 2013, the Xinzhuang Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Xiadian Township: With a population of 34,000 and 54,000 mu of arable land, Xiadian Township is located at the junction of two provinces (Shandong and Hebei) and three counties (Guanxian, Shenxian, and Daming). It is traversed by the Beijing-Kaifeng Highway and the Guanban Highway, making transportation very convenient. The area enjoys political stability, social harmony, and rapid development of its rural economy. In 2004, the per capita net income of farmers reached 3,425 yuan.

Vegetable production is the leading and most advantageous industry. There are vast stretches of connected greenhouses producing vegetables, numbering in the tens of thousands, yielding 200 million kilograms of various vegetables annually and generating an output value of 180 million yuan.
