The King Pear Tree dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is located in Lanwo Township, Guan County.

In 1999, the King Pear Tree was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.

Lanwo Township: Located 15 kilometers northeast of Guan County’s county seat, Lanwo Township administers 28 administrative villages, has a population of 31,000, 40,000 mu of arable land, and 30,000 mu of orchards. It is renowned for high-quality fruits such as duck pears, apples, apricots, peaches, plums, and grapes, and is known as the “No. 1 Duck Pear Township of Qilu.” The scenic “Ten-Thousand-Mu Pear Orchard” has been included in the China Northern Water City (Liaocheng) Tourism & Business Encyclopedia. Every early April, the area attracts a continuous stream of flower-viewing tourists.
