The Guanxian Sangan Drainage Sluice was built in 1965 and is located in Xinqi Town, Guanxian.

In 2012, the Guanxian Sangan Drainage Sluice was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Xinqi Town: Xinqi Township is located in the eastern part of Guanxian County, 23 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Dongchangfu District to the east, with the Beijing-Kowloon Highway running through the entire township. The area stretches 8.25 kilometers from north to south and 14.26 kilometers from east to west, covering a total area of 82.07 square kilometers. It administers 51 administrative villages, with a total population of 44,000 and cultivated land area of 72,600 mu.
