The Ancient Well of Donggucheng is a cultural relics protection unit of Liaocheng City.

The Ancient Well of Donggucheng is located in Donggucheng Village, Donggucheng Town, Guan County. It dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In October 2014, the Ancient Well of Donggucheng was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Liaocheng City.

Donggucheng Town: Located in the westernmost part of Shandong Province, Donggucheng Town faces Guantao County of Hebei Province across the river, serving as the western gateway of Shandong. Covering a total area of 150 square kilometers, it has 92,000 mu of arable land, administers 84 administrative villages, and has a population of 70,000. In 1999, it was approved by the provincial government as a central town. The Handan–Jinan Railway, the Jining–Liaocheng–Guantao Expressway, National Highways 106 and 306, and Provincial Road 008 intersect within the town, providing convenient transportation. High-quality garlic and premium, rare, and unique fruits are the town’s key agricultural specialties. The starch noodle processing industry, chemical industry, and casting industry are the dominant and advantageous sectors in the area.
