Xijie Mosque is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

Xijie Mosque is situated in Mazhuang Town, Daiyue District, Tai’an City, and dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On October 10, 2013, Xijie Mosque was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Mazhuang Town: Located in the southwest of Daiyue District, Mazhuang Town has a total population of 51,000 and covers an area of 57.23 square kilometers. It is the only all-flatland town in Daiyue District. In 2011, the town achieved a fiscal revenue of 25.09 million yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. It ranked first in both the district’s public sentiment survey and the telephone survey on public safety satisfaction.
