The Memorial Park of the Liu-Deng Army's Bold Crossing of the Yellow River is located in Shaheya Village, Shouzhang Town, south of Yanggu County. The Memorial Park is divided into three parts: the former site of the Liu-Deng Army River-Crossing Command Post, the River-Crossing Square, and the Museum of the Liu-Deng Army's Bold Crossing of the Yellow River. The former command post authentically recreates the scenes where the two -s directed operations and lived under harsh conditions in Shaheya.

The River-Crossing Square is designed with two tiers, symbolizing the two times the two -s resided here. At the center of the square stands a 1:1 scale granite sculpture depicting the two -s standing on a boat leading soldiers across the river. The sculpture, including its base, stands 4.763 meters tall, representing the date June 30, 1947, when the two -s led their forces in the bold crossing of the treacherous Yellow River.

The museum mainly consists of exhibition halls, a multimedia 3D screening room, a visitor service center, and offices. The exhibition halls use a large number of photos, texts, films, and historical artifacts to provide a detailed account of the events leading up to and following the Liu-Deng Army’s crossing of the Yellow River. It is divided into eight sections: Pre-Battle Situation, Preparations for the Crossing, The Bold Crossing, The Battle of the Crossing, Civilian Support for the Army, Cooperation Between Liu and Deng, The Revolutionary History of Yanggu, and Forging Ahead into the Future.
