Jingyanggang Liquor Culture Museum

To inherit and promote China's rich and unique liquor culture spanning thousands of years, Yanggu built the Jingyanggang Liquor Culture Museum and the Exhibition Hall of Historical Chinese Liquor Vessels in 2010. Drawing on classical literary masterpieces and featuring abundant and detailed historical materials, the museum houses over 2,000 precious ancient liquor vessel relics. It encompasses the origin, development, evolution, rise and fall of liquor culture, and also collects a large number of cultural relics, ancient books, liquor vessels, drinking utensils, calligraphy, and paintings.

The Liquor Culture Museum uses various methods such as paintings, sculptures, cultural relics, physical objects, as well as sound, electricity, and light to present the 5,000-year history of liquor civilization through an integrated display format. The history of liquor culture in the museum is chronologically divided into six sections: "Ancient Origins of Liquor — Yanggu, the Birthplace of Liquor", "Ancient Liquor Rituals — The Long-standing Liquor Etiquette and Culture of Yanggu", "Han-Tang Liquor Traditions — The Prevailing Liquor Rituals in the Yanggu Area During the Qin, Han, Sui, and Tang Dynasties", "Fragrance of Yanggu Liquor — The Rise to Fame of Jingyanggang Hero Liquor", "Canal Liquor Charm — The Cultural Elegance of Liquor During the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties", and "Chronicles of the Liquor Capital — The Origin and Development of Jingyanggang Liquor in Yanggu".

Zhangqiu Town: Zhangqiu Town is located in the eastern part of the county seat. The name "Zhangqiu" first appeared during the Tang and Five Dynasties periods, and the town was established during the Northern Song Dynasty. In 1940, the Anti-Japanese Democratic Government of Zhangqiu County was formed. In 1964, the county was abolished and the town was re-established, having previously been designated as Zhangqiu District and Zhangqiu People’s Commune. In 1984, it was re-designated as Zhangqiu Town, a status it retains to this day.　

Zhangqiu Town is located 20 kilometers east of Yanggu County seat, bordering Taiqian County of Henan Province to the south and Adjacent to Acheng Town to the north. The town covers a total area of 53 square kilometers, with a population of 50,000, including 1,780 Hui people.
