The Stele of Confucius’ Lodging is a cultural relic protected at the county level in Yanggu County.

The Stele of Confucius’ Lodging dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is located in Houtun, Anle Town, Yanggu.

On March 16, 1983, the Stele of Confucius’ Lodging was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Anle Town: Anle Town is an administrative town under the jurisdiction of Yanggu County. It is located in the northeastern part of the county seat and was originally called Laojuntang. During the Later Zhou Dynasty of the Five Dynasties period, Emperor Chai Rong once recuperated here, after which it was renamed Anle Village. In the Song Dynasty, it was established as Anle Town and has retained that name ever since. During the Ming Dynasty, the Yanggu County magistrate set up office and administered local affairs from the town. In 1934, the 0 Yanggu County Committee was established here, and in 1947, Xuyi County was founded with its county government based in Anle Town. In 1949, Xuyi County was abolished. In 1958, the Anle Town People's Commune was established. In 1984, it was restructured as Anle Town, the name it retains to this day.
