The Temple of Lord Wang (Danian) is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Yanggu County.

The Temple of Lord Wang (Danian) dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is located on East Street in Shouzhang Town, Yanggu.

On September 19, 2004, the Temple of Lord Wang (Danian) was designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Shouzhang Town: Located in the southern part of Yanggu County, at the border between Shandong and Henan provinces, Shouzhang Town is one of the key passages from Shandong to the Central Plains. Originally named "Wangling Dian" (Wang Tomb Shop), the town was renamed Shouzhang when the county seat of Shouzhang County was moved here in the 13th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1380). In 1964, the county was abolished, with the area north of the Jin Di embankment designated as Shouzhang District. In 1971, it became Shouzhang People’s Commune, and in 1982, it was renamed Shouzhang Town. In 2001, the former Sipeng Town was merged into it. It currently administers 67 administrative villages, has a population of 71,000, and covers 56,000 mu of arable land.
