The Yanggu Acheng Mosque is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggu County.

The Yanggu Acheng Mosque dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is located on West Street in Acheng Town, Yanggu.

On September 19, 2004, the Yanggu Acheng Mosque was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Acheng Town: Acheng Town is situated on the northern bank of the Yellow River, in the eastern part of Yanggu County. It covers an area of 115.1 square kilometers, has a population of 68,000, and 120,000 mu of arable land.

Acheng Town enjoys a superior geographical location and a long history and culture. Historic sites within its jurisdiction, such as the Ancient A Well, Haihui Temple, and Sun Bin Pavilion, are renowned both at home and abroad. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was “a bustling hub where scholars and merchants gathered,” and one of the famous commercial ports along the canal.

On this ancient land, many notable figures have emerged, including the famous military strategist Sun Bin from the Warring States period, the renowned Three Kingdoms general Cheng Yu, and the prominent Yuan Dynasty statesman Cao Yuan Yong, among others.
