Exhibition Room on the History of the Communist Party of China in Yanggu County

Yanggu County was among the first counties in Shandong Province to establish local organizations of the Communist Party of China, boasting a glorious history of revolutionary struggle and profound red cultural heritage.

To leverage the role of Party history in informing governance and educating the public, as well as to promote red culture, in April 2009, the Yanggu County Committee of the CPC set up an exhibition room on Party history within the county government office building. The exhibition room features rich content and meticulous production, including 46 display panels and over 200 images. The exhibits are divided into three main sections. Part One: The Dawn of Revolution. This section mainly showcases the revolutionary history from the winter of 1925 to the founding of the People’s Republic of China in October 1949, during which the Party organizations in Yanggu led the people in courageous struggle. Part Two: Smooth Transition and Twisted Development. This part mainly presents the history from the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949 to the convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the CPC in December 1978. Part Three: Reform and Opening-Up—Writing a New Chapter. This section highlights the tremendous achievements made by Yanggu County over the 30 years of reform and opening-up.

The establishment of the Exhibition Room on the History of the Communist Party of China by the Yanggu County Committee of the CPC has provided a permanent venue for carrying out Party history education.
