The Former Site of the Command Post for Liu and Deng’s Army Crossing the Yellow River at Shaheyá is located in Shouzhang Town, Yanggu County, dating back to 1947.

On October 10, 2013, the Former Site of the Command Post for Liu and Deng’s Army Crossing the Yellow River at Shaheyá was designated by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units in Shandong Province.

Shouzhang Town: Located in the southern part of Yanggu County, at the border between Shandong and Henan provinces, Shouzhang Town is one of the key passages from Shandong to the Central Plains. Originally named "Wanglingdian," the town became the seat of Shouzhang County in the 13th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1380), and thus adopted the county’s name. In 1964, the county was abolished, with the area north of the Jin Di levee designated as Shouzhang District. In 1971, it was changed to Shouzhang People's Commune, and in 1982, it became Shouzhang Town. In 2001, the former Sipeng Town was merged into it. It currently administers 67 administrative villages, has a population of 71,000, and covers 56,000 mu of arable land.
