Acheng Taochengpu Sluice is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

Acheng Taochengpu Sluice is located in Acheng Town, Yanggu County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, Acheng Taochengpu Sluice was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Acheng Town: Acheng Town is situated on the north bank of the Yellow River, in the eastern part of Yanggu County. It covers an area of 115.1 square kilometers, has a population of 68,000, and includes 120,000 mu of arable land.

Acheng Town boasts a superior geographical location and a long history and culture. Its historical sites such as the Ancient A Well, Haihui Temple, and Sun Bin Pavilion are renowned both at home and abroad. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was “a bustling hub where scholars and merchants gathered,” and one of the famous commercial ports along the canal.

On this ancient land, many notable figures have emerged.
