Site of the Anling Tumulus

The Site of the Anling Tumulus is located 300 meters northeast of Sunzhuang Village, Liugang Township, Cao County. It features remains from the Neolithic Longshan Culture and the Shang Dynasty (predominantly Shang), and is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit in Shandong Province.

The Site of the Anling Tumulus was designated as a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit in 1977. The site is 225 meters long from north to south and 150 meters wide from east to west, with its highest point standing 8 meters above the ground. The site is relatively well-preserved, with few exposed relics or artifacts. Only a small number of relics have been collected, including square-patterned and cord-marked pottery fragments from the Longshan Culture period, as well as Shang Dynasty pottery leg fragments, pottery shards, and stone arrowheads.
