【Yangshao Culture Site in Ren County】A cultural heritage site. Located on the south side of Dongxing Road in Rencheng Town, it covers an area of over 60 acres. A large number of painted pottery fragments, geometric patterns, ash pits, animal bones from the Yangshao Culture, as well as gray pottery fragments and eggshell pottery from the Longshan Culture have been unearthed here. In 1988, trial excavations by the Provincial Archaeological Research Institute confirmed it as a site of both Yangshao and Longshan Cultures.

Rencheng Town: Rencheng Town is located in the southwestern part of Ren County and serves as the seat of the county government. It lies between 114°40′57″E to 114°43′41″E longitude and 37°07′25″N to 37°10′05″N latitude. Situated on the alluvial plain at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, the terrain is flat. The town covers an area of 56 square kilometers.
