Yanggang Park

The Yanggang New District is located at the eastern foot of Shizhong Mountain, on the southern bank of the Yangtze River, and by the shores of Poyang Lake. It boasts unique natural scenery, superior location advantages, and rich cultural and tourism resources. Plans are in place to integrate the Yanggang New District into the Shizhong Mountain tourism circle as an extension of the broader Shizhong Mountain cultural tourism experience. Urban and tourism planning will emphasize the rational layout of the six essential elements of tourism, aiming to develop the area into a comprehensive tourism destination. The new district will feature a food street and a specialty shopping street, with a commercial plaza at its center, and high-end residential communities, clubs, hotels, and inns along the lakeside to attract tourists for leisure and vacation. A large-scale integration of related tourism resources is planned, including the construction of a tourist wharf along the Yangtze River, the development of Xiangshan as a new attraction, and the creation of water amusement projects such as the “Impression of Hukou” on Yanggang Lake. Cultural and historical landmarks will be carefully preserved to highlight cultural heritage and enhance the city’s overall character. The completion of the Yanggang District will enable coordinated and mutually reinforcing development among Hukou’s industrial zones, urban areas, and scenic spots.
