The site of the Second Congress of the Communist Party of Jiangxi Province is located in Wangsui Village, Shunde Township, Hukou County, Jiangxi Province. It is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit and also a county-level patriotic education base.

Brief historical background: On December 9, 1928, the Second Congress of the Communist Party of Jiangxi Province was held at the home of Wang Wenfeng, a local Communist Party member in Wangsui Village. Twenty delegates attended the four-day meeting. The congress was presided over by Feng Ren, the acting secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. During the meeting, delegates listened to reports including one on the spirit of the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China delivered by Zhang Jinren, the Central Committee representative, a political report by Wang Wenfeng, and a work report from the Provincial Committee by Feng Ren. The congress elected a new Provincial Committee, which included 13 executive committee members (Zhang Shixi, Wang Wenfeng, Feng Ren, Shen Jianhua, Hu Zishou, Cao Ce, He Jun, Fang Zhimin, Hua Eyang, Cai Shenxi, Li Xingbao, Sun Shurong, and one vacancy to be appointed by the Central Committee), 7 alternate executive committee members (Jiang Jianmin, Liu Shiqi, Liu Qixun, Shao Shiping, Zhang Yehuo, Xu Jindan, Xu Shaobao), and 3 members of the Review Committee (Xiao Shao, Zeng Wenfu, Yang Jiuxing). Subsequently, the executive committee selected seven members—Zhang Shixi, Wang Wenfeng, Feng Ren, Hu Zishou, Shen Jianhua, Cao Ce, and He Jun—to form the Standing Committee. On the day after the closing of the Party Congress, the Rural Pacification Corps entered the village and conducted mass arrests. Comrade Wang Wenfeng was unfortunately captured and died a heroic death after being brutally disemboweled and having his heart cut out, and his house was burned down.
