Former Site of the Central County Committee of the Seven Counties in Jiangxi and Anhui

The Former Site of the Central County Committee of the Seven Counties in Jiangxi and Anhui is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Central County Committee of the Seven Counties in Jiangxi and Anhui was located in Zhaojigou, situated in the northeastern part of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, on the southwestern side of the Dahao Mountain Range and within the eastern mountain ridge of Fengshuling.

During the Second Revolutionary Civil War period, the headquarters of the Ninth and Tenth Battalions of the guerrilla forces of northern Jiangxi and southern Anhui, led by Fang Zhimin and Shao Shiping, as well as the Central County Committee of seven counties including Pengze, Poyang, Duchang, Dongliu, Zhide, Wangjiang, and Susong, were once stationed here. In the northwest of the village, close to the mountainside, there is a tile-roofed house with a wooden frame and blue bricks, which served as the office of the headquarters and the Central County Committee at that time. Bullet holes can still be seen on the walls to this day.
