The former site of the command headquarters of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Military District is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the command headquarters of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Military District is located in Fenglin Village, Geguan Town, Hengfeng County, covering an area of 500 square meters. In front of the building is a simple entrance gate. The structure consists of two sections, front and back, with a central courtyard and a total of 12 rooms, including the commander’s office, political commissar’s office, army commander’s office, and chief of staff’s office. The Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Military District also made an outstanding innovation—the battlefield of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Soviet Area—

The former site complex of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base is located in Geguan Town, Hengfeng County. This was the center of the Fujian-Zhejiang-(Anhui)-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base during the Second Revolutionary Civil War. Revolutionary pioneers such as Fang Zhimin established a red political power here and pioneered the historical “revolution through two-and-a-half lines,” which was hailed by Comrade Mao Zedong as “our glorious model Soviet area.” The site complex includes a number of well-preserved revolutionary relics that are national key cultural relic protection units, such as the former site of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, the former site of the Provincial Soviet Government, the former site of the Provincial Military District Command Headquarters, the former site of the Fifth Red Army School, and the former site of the Red Lenin Park. There are also the Red Square, the Command Platform, the former site of the Four Departments and One Commission, and the former site of the Provincial Young Communist League Committee. The Red Lenin Park is the first park established in the history of our Party. The Geguan Martyrs Memorial Hall and the ancient street of Geguan Town are also great spots for sightseeing.

Transportation: Geguan Town is about 30 kilometers from the county seat, and there are convenient and fast buses from the county seat that go directly there.
