The Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base was one of the six major revolutionary bases in China during the Second Revolutionary Civil War. Chairman Mao Zedong praised it as a "Fang Zhimin-style base" and commended the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Base for having "excellent innovations" and being a "strong Soviet stronghold."

The various party, government, military, and mass organizations within the site collectively showcase the establishment and development of the Fujian-Zhejiang-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base. Architecturally, they reflect the traditional building environment, styles, and craftsmanship characteristics of northeastern Jiangxi during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Among them, ancestral hall structures demonstrate the highest level of local construction techniques, showcasing strong regional features and possessing significant scientific, artistic, and historical value. It is a precious site for promoting the outstanding revolutionary traditions of our Party and Army, and for fostering patriotism.
