Former Site of the Red Army Parade Ground Command Platform
The Former Site of the Red Army Parade Ground Command Platform is located in Fenglin Village, Geyuan Town, covering an area of 10,500 square meters. Built in 1933, the entire square is shaded by 168 tall maple trees, with a command platform at the northern end. It was a gathering place for soldiers and civilians—commemorative meetings, victory celebrations, sports events, and cultural performances in the Soviet Area were all held here. In November 1934, Fang Zhimin held a mobilization meeting here, bidding his final farewell to the villagers before leading his troops northward to resist the Japanese invasion.
