Gubu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yugan County. Established as Gubu Commune in 1960, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1996. It is situated in the northeastern part of the county, on the eastern bank of the eastern branch of the Xin River, 12 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers an area of 115 square kilometers with a population of 51,000. The Yugan–Gubu Highway runs through the central area.
