The Dongaikou Grottoes are a cultural heritage protection unit of Handan City.

The Dongaikou Grottoes are located to the west of Dongaikou Village, Guantai Town, Cixian County. The Dongaikou Grottoes are among the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Dongaikou Village: Legend has it that the village was established during the Song Dynasty and was originally named Aikou, based on the nearby Aishan Mountain and the ferry crossing along the Zhang River. It was later renamed to Aikou. The village eventually split into two, becoming Dong (East) Aikou and Xi (West) Aikou, according to their relative locations. Dongaikou Village is situated in the western part of Guantai Town, Cixian County. To the east, it borders Guantai Second Street Village; to the west, it neighbors Xi Aikou Village; to the south, it adjoins Gangziyao Village; and to the north, it faces Yezhi Village of Dudang Township across the Zhang River.
