Jiulongjing is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Jiulongjing Scenic Area is a highlight of eco-tourism in Zherong County, a national-level ecological demonstration zone and provincial garden city in Fujian Province. It is an important part of the "Dongshi Mountain Scenic Area Cluster," a provincial-level scenic spot, as well as a key component of the Pan-Taimu Tourism Circle and the Eastern Fujian Water Tourism Route. The area encompasses a variety of landscapes including uniquely shaped Dragon Wells, spectacular potholes, waterfalls, bamboo corridors, and pristine valleys. It consists of three parts: the Jiulongjing Eco-Scenic Area, the Jinxi Drifting Scenic Area, and the Shishanyang Eco-Sightseeing Area.

The main scenic area, Jiulongjing, is formed by nine pothole wells connected in a chain: Golden Pig Well, Bat Well, Long River Well, Gourd Well, Walrus Well, Dragon Gate Well, Heart-Linked Well, Guanyin Well, and Lotus Well. Lush green mountains and rippling blue waters connect the nine wells, with white cascades like silk ribbons winding through serene valleys, blending motion and stillness to showcase both charm and wonder. With the "Eastern Fujian Water Tourism Route" being selected as one of China’s Top Ten Perfect Travel Routes, the reputation and influence of Zherong’s Jiulongjing Scenic Area continue to grow, attracting visitors from all over who are enchanted and reluctant to leave.
