Xikou Yuan Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Year: Qing Dynasty

Location: Xikou Village, Zha’yang Township, Zherong County

Description: The hall is three bays wide and two bays deep, covering an area of 327.19 square meters. Along the central axis are, in sequence, the main gate, lower hall (internally connected to a stage), middle hall, and upper hall. Well-preserved plaques date back to the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty. The plaques include inscriptions by prominent Kuomintang figures such as Li Zongren, Yang Shuzhuang, Jiang Guangnai, Sa Zhenbing, and He Yiwu.

Protective boundary: Extends 20 meters outward from the drip line of the building.

In 2009, Xikou Yuan Family Ancestral Hall was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Xikou Village: Overview of Xikou Village

Administrative affiliation and transportation: Xikou Village is located in the eastern part of Zha’yang Township, 26 kilometers from Zherong County seat and 16 kilometers from the township government. It borders Gaoshan Village of Bailin Town, Fuding City to the east, Changqi Village and Fengli Village of Zha’yang Township to the north, Shishan Village and Qianlou Village of Zha’yang Township to the west, and Hulin Village and Nanguang Village of Panxi Town, Fuding City to the south.

Village and residents: Xikou Village currently has 114 households and 465 residents, with 200 laborers. It administers two natural villages—Shangyang and Xiayang—and four villager groups.
