Spirit Turtle Fu Yuan Bridge

Spirit Turtle Fu Yuan Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Gutian County.

Spirit Turtle Fu Yuan Bridge is located 400 meters east of Linggui Village, Hetang Town, Gutian County. According to the 1949 edition of the *Fengshan Hu Clan Genealogy*, it was first built in the eighth year of the Qiandao era during the Southern Song Dynasty (1172 AD). The bridge has four piers and three spans, with a total length of 23.8 meters, a width of 2.6 meters, and a height of 5 meters above the water. The piers feature a boat-shaped design and were built using the corbel arch method, with edges chamfered into arcs that step out layer by layer. The bridge deck is formed by 12 large stone beams spanning across, and inscriptions on the bridge record donations from local devotees who contributed stone beams as memorials for deceased couples, as well as accounts of monks from Chongshou Temple soliciting alms to build and renovate the bridge.

In December 2018, it was designated as part of the eighth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection sites in Gutian County.
