Meilie Zhengshun Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Zhengshun Temple is located at No. 1 Liexi Street, Meilie District, Sanming City. Situated on the west bank of the Shaxi River and to the north of Liedong Bridge, it faces the classical garden-style Qilin Mountain Park and the bustling commercial area.

Zhengshun Temple serves as a historical museum for Sanming. Originally built in the sixth year of the Shaoding era during the Southern Song Dynasty (1233 AD), it has a history of over 700 years and is the earliest-built and best-preserved wooden structure in the Sanming area.

Other places such as Youxi, Yong’an, Nanping, Jiangle, and Dehua also have Zhengshun Temples, but this ancestral temple is the largest in scale, covering a total area of 745 square meters, and is also the most famous. The temple faces south and is surrounded by blooming winter jasmine, magnolia, hibiscus, lilac, willows, cypresses, camphor trees, osmanthus, and bamboo, creating a vibrant and fragrant atmosphere.
