Meilie Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument
The Meilie District Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument was built in 1977. It stands 18 meters tall and is constructed from bluish-white granite. The front of the monument features 15 gilded Chinese characters that read “Revolutionary Martyrs Live Forever.” The front of the base is engraved with an inscription. There are two platforms: the upper one is 20 meters long and 15 meters wide, and the lower one is 40 meters long and 30 meters wide. The platform is connected to 100 stone steps leading up, forming a pathway for visitors to pay their respects.
