Tingjiang National Wetland Park in Changting is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

Tingjiang National Wetland Park is located in Sanzhou Town, Changting County, Fujian Province. It covers 12 administrative villages across three townships—Hetian, Sanzhou, and Zhuotian—with a planned total area of 590.9 hectares. The park is divided into four functional zones: conservation, education and exhibition, rational utilization, and management services. It aims to become a distinctive eco-tourism destination that showcases the “restoration model of the Tingjiang River—the Mother River of the Hakka people,” establishes a “new model for wetland ecological construction in the hilly soil erosion areas of southern China,” and serves as a habitat for the protection and recovery of unique fish species in the Tingjiang River, all while preserving wetland and landscape resources.

The core area of the park is situated in Sanzhou Town, a renowned historical and cultural village in China. The mountain is covered by ten thousand mu of bayberry orchards, while the valley houses the wetland park. Once a severely eroded area, it has now been transformed into a picturesque eco-tourism destination with flowing streams, continuous fruit tree plantations, birdsong, and fragrant flowers. It is also a key component of the plan to develop Longyan City’s top ten famous tourist towns.

Sanzhou Town: Sanzhou Town is located in the southeastern part of Changting County, about 34 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Hetian Town to the northeast, touches Tufang Township to the southeast, adjoins Hetian Town to the northwest, and neighbors Zhuotian Town to the southwest. The Tingjiang River runs from north to south through six villages—Xiaotan, Lanfang, Sanzhou, Qiufang, Daifang, and Zengfang. The Nanshan River flows from east to south and meets the Tingjiang River at Zengfang Village. Tongba and Xiaoxitou Villages are located on both sides of the Nanshan River.

Sanzhou Town was established as an independent township in October 1987 after being separated from Hetian Town. The town government is located in Sanzhou Village.
