The Hakka ancestral halls in Changting are located in Tingzhou Town, Changting County, Longyan City. They consist of the Xinxin Lane Ancestral Hall Cluster, the Lin Clan Ancestral Hall, the Lai Clan Tanyuan Public Hall, the Liu Clan Ancestral Hall, and others. The Xinxin Lane Ancestral Hall Cluster spans Xinxin Lane and Central Lane, and includes five ancestral structures: the Zeng Residence, the Zheng Clan Ancestral Hall, the Luo Clan Ancestral Hall, the Fu Clan Ancestral Hall, and the Lai Clan Ancestral Hall. All are Qing Dynasty-era brick-and-wood mansions built in the official-residence style, covering a total area of 3,000 square meters. The Lin Clan Ancestral Hall was built during the Qing Dynasty, and its structure includes a front open courtyard, gate tower, entrance hall, central courtyard, main hall, wing rooms, rear flower terrace, and rear row of rooms, covering an area of 1,200 square meters. The Lai Clan Tanyuan Public Hall was built in the Ming Dynasty and has undergone multiple renovations, covering 700 square meters. The Liu Clan Ancestral Hall largely retains its Ming Dynasty architectural style and spans 500 square meters. In 2009, it was designated as a cultural heritage site protected by Fujian Province.

Tingzhou Town: Tingzhou Town in Changting County is situated in western Fujian, on the upper reaches of the Ting River at the southern edge of the Wuyi Mountains, and serves as the seat of the county government. The town covers an area of 10.6 square kilometers, includes nine neighborhood committees, and has a population of 62,600. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has been the site of various administrative divisions including prefectures and counties, and is considered the ancestral homeland of the Hakka people. It is a historic city known for its handicrafts and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of western Fujian.
