The Former Shen Residence in Guanqian is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Former Shen Residence in Guanqian is located in Shenfangpingpu Village, Guanqian Town, Changting County, Longyan City. Built during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1821–1850), it covers an area of 2,180 square meters and features a traditional nine-hall, eighteen-courtyard layout. The complex includes a gate tower, rain courtyard, main gate, front hall, central hall, rear hall building, along with two rows of wing rooms on either side. It has a brick-and-wood structure, a three-courtyard and two-courtyard design, features hanging gables, and employs a post-and-lintel wooden frame construction. It was designated as a Fujian Provincial Cultural Heritage Site in 2009.

Guanqian Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Changting County. Established as Guanqian Township in 1949, it was upgraded to a town in 1956, changed to a commune in 1958, and re-established as a town in 1984. Located in the northeastern part of the county, it is 28 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 166.1 square kilometers, it has a population of 16,000. The Changting–Sanming Highway passes through the town. It administers 14 village committees: Tingdong, Fuxing, Chikeng, Maping, Yanfang, Chenlian, Dongzhuang, Yijia, Nancai, Shankeng, Huanghu, Yunfeng, Xiaoyang, and Pingpu. The main agricultural products are rice, wheat, and vegetables, along with tobacco, watermelon, mushrooms, and timber and bamboo.
