The Zengzi Ancestral Temple in Tingzhou is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Zengzi Ancestral Temple in Tingzhou is located on Henggang Ridge, Dongmen Street, Tingzhou Town, Changting County. It faces south and consists of a gate tower, two corridors, the main hall, side rooms, a rear hall, and an eastern side chamber, covering a construction area of 220 square meters. The main hall has five bays in width and five pillars in depth, with the central bay featuring a large moon beam used to support the roof and reduce columns, creating an open hall space. The rest of the structure employs a post-and-lintel beam system. The rear hall’s shrine enshrines a statue of Zengzi.

Tingzhou Town: Tingzhou Town in Changting County is located in western Fujian Province, on the upper reaches of the Ting River and at the southern end of the Wuyi Mountains. It serves as the seat of the county government. The town covers an area of 10.6 square kilometers, includes nine neighborhood committees, and has a population of 62,600. Since the Tang Dynasty, it has been the site of prefectures, commanderies, routes, and provincial-level administrative centers, making it the ancestral home of the Hakka people. It is a long-established city known for its handicraft industry and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of western Fujian.
