The Site of the Red Fourth Army Meeting at Xiehe Inn is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The Site of the Red Fourth Army Meeting at Xiehe Inn is located in Hongdu Village, Sidu Town, Changting County, dating back to 1929.

Description: Originally a guesthouse built in the late Qing Dynasty, it faces east and sits west, with two stories and a wooden structure covering an area of 220 square meters. It is integrated with the zigzag-shaped old street. On March 12, 1929, when the Red Fourth Army first entered Fujian and arrived in Sidu, Mao Zedong stayed there that evening and presided over a meeting of cadres at the regimental level and above of the Red Fourth Army in this building to discuss the direction of action after advancing into western Fujian.

In 2018, the Site of the Red Fourth Army Meeting at Xiehe Inn was announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward from all sides of the building.

Hongdu Village: Hongdu is under the jurisdiction of Sidu Town, Changting County, located 1 kilometer from the town center, situated on both banks of the Meixi River. To the east it borders Shuitou Village of Zhuotian Town, to the south it neighbors Yangguling Village, to the west it leans against Tongrentianduan and faces Tongren Village within sight, and to the north it borders Yuxi Village across the boundary of Tongrendian. With an elevation of 360 meters, it enjoys convenient transportation via the Tinghong Highway. The village covers an area of 6.33 square kilometers, including 9,966 mu of forest land, 2,211 mu of non-forest land, and 1,171 mu of cultivated land. The current population is 1,064 people in 236 households, organized into 7 villager groups.
