The Former Site of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Tingxi County Committee and Soviet, Shichang Ancestral Hall, is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Former Site of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Tingxi County Committee and Soviet, Shichang Ancestral Hall, is located in Hongdu Village, Sidu Town, Changting County, dating back to 1930–1935.

Description: Built during the Qing Dynasty, it consists of a gate tower, rain courtyard, lower hall, central courtyard, and upper hall, covering an area of 501.38 square meters. The gate tower faces east and is situated to the west, while the main hall faces north and is located to the south. It has two sections and one courtyard, with a brick-and-wood structure, post-and-lintel wooden framework, and a gable-and-hip roof. In May 1930, the Sidu District Committee and District Soviet of the CPC were established at Shichang Ancestral Hall, with Chen Qing as the district party secretary and Lai Xingyin as the district Soviet chairman. In September 1934, to establish a guerrilla base centered in the Sidu mountainous region, parts of the former Changting and Zhaozheng counties were reorganized into the Tingxi County Committee and County Soviet. The county committee and county Soviet were headquartered at Shichang Ancestral Hall, with Zeng Hongfei appointed as the county party secretary by the provincial committee, and Lai Xingyin as the county Soviet chairman. From October 1934 to January 1935, the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC was also temporarily based here.

In 2018, the Former Site of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and the Tingxi County Committee and Soviet, Shichang Ancestral Hall, was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the Fujian Provincial People's Government.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward from all sides of the building.

Hongdu Village: Hongdu belongs to Sidu Town, Changting County, located 1 kilometer from the town center and situated on both banks of the Meixi River. To the east it borders Shuitou Village of Zhuotian Town, to the south it neighbors Yangguling Village, to the west it lies close to Tongren Tiantuan and Tongren Village, and to the north it faces Yuxi Village across the Tongren Tiantuan. With an elevation of 360 meters, the village enjoys convenient transportation via the Tinghong Highway. It covers an area of 6.33 square kilometers, including 9,966 mu of forested land, 2,211 mu of non-forested land, and 1,171 mu of arable land. The current population is 1,064 people in 236 households, organized into 7 villager groups.
