The Former Residence of Mao Zetan and Liu Family Maoyuan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The Former Residence of Mao Zetan and Liu Family Maoyuan Ancestral Hall is located in Jiangshaoke Natural Village, Louziba, Sidu Town, Changting County, dating back to 1934–1935.

Description: Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it faces east with a west orientation, features a civil-structured, two-courtyard single-entry layout with a hanging hip roof. It consists of a gate tower, rain courtyard, upper and lower halls, and left and right wing rooms, covering an area of 480 square meters. The upper hall was once burned down by the Kuomintang army and was rebuilt in 1952, with a three-bay width and rafters resting on rammed earth walls; the lower hall has a post-and-lintel wooden frame. During that time, after being assigned by the CCP Central Soviet Area Branch to stay in the Central Soviet Area as a branch committee member, Mao Zetan lived here from October 1934 to April 1935.

In 2018, the Former Residence of Mao Zetan and Liu Family Maoyuan Ancestral Hall was announced by the People’s Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Protection boundary: Extending 20 meters outward in all directions around the building.

Louziba Village in Sidu Town is located in the western part of Sidu Town, bordering Zetan Township and Baiying Township of Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. It is 46 kilometers from the county seat and 25 kilometers from the town government. The village covers an area of 25 square kilometers. It has 180 households, a population of 730, and 42 Communist Party members. It is the first village entered by the Red Army in Fujian and has three natural villages designated as provincial revolutionary base points.
